9 creature contest entry

Well, I used to have an account here (with one deviation on it; I'm so ashamed) but for no real reason at all I made a new one instead. It's great, too. I can't believe I went so long without one of these.

Really I only did it so I could join the 9 creature contest. I'm not expecting to win or anything, but just the thought of being in the contest and having judges see the work... well, it's a whole new level of selfish I guess you could say. :P

Well, off to bed. Since it's 3:45 in the freaking morning...

Holy feck you wouldn't believe how far I went for a girl. A BLACK girl. Well, half-black. Let's just say in one day I ran four miles, defied my family, and walked up to people and got concrete answers from them in public. Amongst people I didn't know.

It didn't work out. We both decided that we should just try our luck with other people. My family's racist and so are a third of my friends (not KKK racist... but 'thou shalt not mix with other races even if they're almost the same color as you';).

Not me. But I went to the ends of the earth and I didn't even... well, I wasn't even entirely sure if I actually liked her. But fuck that, it was all or nothing. I went all in and that's not a double entendre.

As a side note, I literally gave up doing my second entry for the 9 contest, effectively ridding me of any chance of winning or placing, for this girl. I'll never know if it was a good idea but ALL OR NOTHING. And again, I went all in. :/

I'd be telling Black about this if I could get a hold of him.

Oh well amn, at least you tried, if you didn;t the doubt would have set in which would have been even worse, you win you lose some. chin up, plenty more girls out there
